There are many ways you can setup VPNarm on your Android Device to secure your Online Activities. This support article will guide you through the following processes.

Application (Automatic)

You can start using VPNarm right away after subscribing without the need to manually adjust settings by installing the application.

  1. To access the VPN product download the VPN software here and install the VPNarm Application.
  2. Enter your VPN Login Credentials. (You must subscribe to one of our VPN plans to get this.)
  3. Once logged in, select the Country and Server you wish to connect from.

That’s it! You just installed the VPNarm software and can now start browsing the web securely.

Android TV (Manual)

VPNarm works with a range of Smart Android TV’s. Here’s how you manually configure your Smart Android.

  1. Download the required VPN Configuration file to your computer.
  2. Transfer the Server Configuration File to a Media Drive (USB, SD, etc.).
  3. Plug the Media Drive into your Smart Android TV and access the Storage.
  4. Open the File and Enter your VPN Login Credentials.
  5. A Permission Request Box will appear. Select OK.
  6. That’s all. You just connected your Smart Android TV to VPNarm.

L2TP Setup (Manual)

Here’s how you manually setup the VPNarm L2TP Protocol on Android Devices.

  1. Open the Settings Application on the Android Device you wish to configure.
  2. Under the Wireless & Networks category select the option More.
  3. Within More select the option VPN.
  4. You will need to create a new VPN configuration which can be done by clicking the (+) symbol within the top right corner.
  5. The Edit VPN Profile will appear with boxes you need to fill out. Here’s the information you need to add:
    • Name for your VPN Profile. This could be VPNarm.
    • Select the L2TP/IPSec Pesk type.
    • Enter the Server Address in the field.
    • Enter the IPSec pre-shared key.
    • Click Save located in the bottom right.
  6. Click the new profile you just made to begin connecting. You will be asked to Log-in so enter your VPN Login Credentials then select Connect.
  7. To verify the L2TP VPN Connection has successfully been established look at the top of your device where notification appear to check the connection status.
  8. Well-done. You just Manually Setup L2TP for your new VPN.

PPTP Setup (Manual)

Here’s how you manually setup the VPNarm PPTP Protocol on Android Devices.

  1. Open the Settings Application on the Android Device you wish to configure.
